Wells County resident and traveling nurse Javon Steffen spent almost 90 days this summer traveling through Japan, not as a tourist, she said, but as a novice missionary preparing for the future, and serving God and Christ, she said, by serving people.
In July, she spent five days in the town of Odaka, one of the towns affected by the damage nuclear power plant, and posted the following pictures on her blog.
