The Bluffton-Harrison school district could receive an additional $125,000 in state revenue for teacher compensation after Indiana Department of Education officials nominated it to receive part of a new state grant.
According to a release from the DOE, 124 schools applied to receive a portion of the $10 million Excellence in Performance for Teachers Grant. DOE officials selected the 40 winners based on their teacher evaluation systems and compensation plans.
