In his inaugural State of Education address Dr. Tony Bennett, Indiana's superintendent of public instruction, recognized the efforts of Bluffton High School Principal Steve Baker and his "Commitment to Graduate" program for freshman students.
Baker's program has led to increased graduates rates at BHS, Bennett said, and Indiana Department of education would like to replicate the program at districts around the state.
