As you can see from the pictures, it was a real scramble for the line in Family Centered Services annual Duck Race on the Wabash River by Kehoe Park Saturday afternoon.
The full story will be in Monday's News-Banner. As you can see from the photos, a small group of ducks soon broke away from the pack and created their own little sprint for the line. Members of the Bluffton and Ossian fire departments oversaw the action in the water, making sure the ducks stayed on course.
