The Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter of Norwell High School attended and competed in the District Leadership Conference on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Blackford High School. Norwell High School students competed with business students from six area high schools (Adams Central, Blackford, Bluffton, Leo, Heartland Career Center, and West Noble) in contests that measure their skills and knowledge in all areas of business. Debbie Darnell is the advisor for Norwell High School BPA.
Fourteen Norwell students have qualified to go to state competition on February 27 – March 1, 2011, in Indianapolis. Seven Norwell students and three Norwell student teams took 1st place in their competition.
