Norwell freshman Jami Reinhard followed Allison Gutierrez of Bellmont to the finish line at Tuesday's girls' cross country sectional in Decatur. Reinhard was the first Norwell finisher, completing the 5,000-meter race in 20:36.
Norwell junior Sean Cossairt led his teammates by placing fifth overall in 16:56.

Homestead's boys coach Dick Shenfeld talked to members of his team after the meet. This was the last time Shenfeld would coach the Spartans at Bellmont. Shenfeld is finishing up his 40th season as a coach. He is retiring after this school year.
