Sports Editor Paul Beitler shot some great video of the efforts to place an M-60 A3 tank at the National Guard Armory south of town.
Chains snapped like twine as the steel behemoth, weighing more than 50 tons, was positioned out front. Beitler was smart enough to stand back and give them plenty of room to work.

There was one there when I was growing up. I never knew what happened to it. Nice to see they are bringing one back.
