Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Tony Bennett visited Ossian Elementary School on Tuesday. Principal Shellie Miller; Northern Wells Community School board members Donna Spear and Deb Miller and NWCS Superintendent Dr. Scott Mills accompanied Bennett and State Senator Travis Holdman as they visited classrooms and heard first-hand from students how things are at OES.

I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. What kind of a dog and pony show was this anyway?
God bless the wonderful Shellie Miller and her terrific staff for putting up with it. And most of all, God bless the students.
Don't you think it might have been nicer if Dr. Bennett would have been interested in hearing who the kids were and what their thoughts were?
Or how about the staff, wouldn't it have been nice if he'd taken the time to talk with them and listen to them?
Thanks! But there were no dogs or ponies at Ossian Elementary School. -jb
Well, that's a shame. Dogs and ponies would have been much much better than Dr. Bennett, I believe. (-:
I know the kids would have enjoyed those much more!
