News-Banner Reporter Frank Shanly wrote a great story on the Advanced Child Development class at Bluffton High School:
The Advanced Child Development class, supervised by Sue Harris, involves looking after 13 preschool children on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. The students operate in groups of two per child, alternating in the roles of teacher and lesson evaluator.
The first lesson was held on Nov. 17, and the final class in the series will be held on Dec. 17.
This year’s class is much larger than that held last year, when 16 students participated. Last year also, all the students were girls, but this year, two boys, Cody Cochran and Tyler Holmes, are also enrolled.
