On December 10th, Southern Wells Elementary had their annual “Winter Wanderland” Christmas program for students in kindergarten through third grade. The kindergarten students sang two songs, “Jingle Bells” and “North Pole, North Pole.” Next up were the third grade children who performed with their recorders, “Rhapsody On An Ancient Carol” then sang, “Zoot Suit Santa.” The night ended with the second grade play entitled, “The Incredible Reindeer.” Some main characters were, Will Pennington, Hannah Roush, Abi Enochs, Jacob Duncan, Mark Geisel, Landon Lenwell and Jenna Eltzroth. The children always do such a wonderful job getting family and friends in the Christmas spirit with their program. Thank you Mrs. Hughes, Mr. Haigh, Mr. Hurst, and students for a great evening.
