Mayor Ted Ellis announced last night that Johnson Street between Market and Walnut streets is officially re-opened. This road has been closed since the fire at the Morrow Block.
Building owner Brock Rittenhouse told the News-Banner this week he is currently planning to rebuild at the site, rather than demolish the structure. Rittenhouse said a permit is being sought to replace the roof and further work is expected.
