BLOOMINGTON — Jim Barbieri received a number of honors and awards during his 50-plus year newspaper career. Saturday, a little more than four years after his death, he received another.
The News-Banner’s former ad salesperson, reporter, photographer, general manager, editor, publisher and co-owner was inducted into the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame Saturday afternoon during a ceremony held on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington.
