Jericho Field trip

From Left to Right: Party Gallery Owner, Natalie Gerber, Nicole Hiday, Emily Taylor, Simon Fry, Adin Stoller, Elsa Corkwell, Caleb Geimer, Owner Gwen Stucky

Party Gallery opened it's doors to welcome Jericho's Alpha Omega Kindergarten students for a field trip. There are always many opportunities for learning during the monthly field trips taken by the Kindergartners, and the experience at Party Gallery was no exception.
One of owner’s, Natalie Gerber, created a scavenger hunt inside the store so the students would have to use their reading, math, and memory skills to complete the hunt. To build on science concepts, the students were given a hands on opportunity to learn how helium works to make balloons float.
After Party Gallery, the Kindergartners headed to McDonalds for lunch. Students were given the chance to learn how to make an order and pay for their food by themselves to increase their understanding of math concepts and life skills.
Jaila Taylor, the Kindergarten teacher at Jericho Advanced Training Center for Ministries, is looking forward to her new students next year that will also get to experience learning and opportunities for growth in and outside of the classroom. The Kindergarten class for next year has only a few slots open as the class is filling up. Please sign up now if you want your child in Jericho’s small, hands on Kindergarten for next year. Call 353-1340.
