Red Cross Swimming Lesson Program 2011

Classes will meet 2-3 times a week (See course descriptions below)

Cost per student: $30 Bluffton Resident/$35 Non-Resident

Infant & Pre-school Program:
Tuesday & Thursday Evenings 5:30-6:00pm
These lessons are for infants 0-2years of age and for toddlers 3-5years of age. Lessons for infants require an adult to participate with the child. Program is geared toward making child’s first impression of the water positive. Toddler lessons are intended for those who have never had swimming lessons before or are non-swimmers. The goal for these students is to make the child comfortable with the water and to be able to put their face in the water. A parent or family member is preferred to participate with their child.

Red Cross Level Program
Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday Evenings 6:00-7:00pm
These lessons are for students who are already fairly comfortable with the water. Student should be 5 years of age. Each level focuses on different swimming skills. Students are evaluated daily and can be tested into the next level if ready.
