Upcoming Events at the Wells County Public Library’s Ossian Branch

Wells County Public Library Release:

The Ossian branch of the Wells County Public Library will be offering many events and programs during the month of March and Spring Break week, including:

Movie at the Branch:
Saturday, March 12: 10 am
All ages. Showing “Megamind,” rated PG. No registration needed.

Birthday Card Class:
Wednesday, March 16: 6:30-8 pm
Adults. Participants will make 6 cards each. $5 cost. Registration required, must sign-up by Saturday, March 12.

Free Tax Counseling for the Elderly:
The Ossian Branch is offering Tax Counseling for the Elderly now through April 11. Ed Goetz offers free tax help to those 60+ on Mondays from 1:30 to 4 pm. The service is provided through the Tax Counseling for the Elderly Program and is on a first come, first served basis.

Wii at the Branch:
Tuesday, March 22
Show up and play the Wii during the afternoon. No registration needed.
· Elementary Students: 12-4 pm
· Middle/High School: 4-8 pm

Spring Break Special:
Wednesday, March 23: 10-11:30 am
Kindergarten-Grade 2. Movie, stories, games, and refreshments based on Mo Willems characters.
Registration required.

An Afternoon of Board Games:
Wednesday, March 23: 1-2:30 pm
Grade 3-up. Join us for an entire afternoon of board games. Games will be provided. Just show up for the fun! Registration required.

Movie at the Branch:
Thursday, March 24: 1-2:45 pm
All ages. Showing “Yogi Bear,” rated PG, on this special movie day at the library. No registration needed.
