Balash lauded for her River Watch efforts
Bluffton teacher Bev Balash has been studying the local branch of the Wabash River with her 8th grade students for nearly a decade.
Last week she was awarded for her hard work by a group that emphasizes the importance of the river to all Hoosiers.
Balash is a recipient of the 2008 Banks of the Wabash River Award presented by the Wabash River Heritage Corridor Commission.
