Bluffton, Ossian, Preble and Uniondale firefighters responded to the scene of a two-story home in flames on Wednesday. Investigators believe the fire started with an explosion caused by a natural gas leak at 5659 Ind. 1 around 2:40 p.m.
Firefighters were on scene until after 6 p.m. Traffic on Indiana 1 north and southbound was diverted while crews battled the flames.
There were no reported injuries.
