It worked out better than anyone could have predicted. The inaugural Walk-A-Thon fundraiser, sponsored by the LCES PTO was Thursday. Students raised nearly $19,000 in donations and had a chance to get some exercise outside doing a little walking.
Dozens of volunteers helped make the event a success and likely, will make it a returning feature of future school years...
