Bluffton Middle School Community Service
On Thursday, April 30, a small group of Bluffton Middle School 8th graders went to Roush Park to do community service. Teacher Jacque Pierce organized the outing by volunteering to help clean up one of the city parks for the Parks Department. Pam Vanderkolk had one of the maintenance men meet the students at the park with rakes, brooms, and trash bags and the kids got busy. They swept the sidewalks and raked 10 bags of wet leaves from the inside and outside of the fences surrounding two ball fields.
