Shanly takes the oath


Frank Shanly, formerly a citizen of New Zealand took the oath of citizenship in Fort Wayne this morning, becoming a full-fledged citizen of the United States.

The New Zealand native was one of 52 people from 24 countries to be sworn in as American citizens. Witnessing the event were, from left, Charles "Skeet" Decker, Kevin Woodward, Jerry Garrett and Joe Smekens.
