SWES Spelling Bee

On January 20th, Southern Wells Elementary held their annual Spelling Bee for students who made it through their 5th and 6th grade Bee. Twenty students competed for top honors at the Spelling Bee
with Kyra Casterline winning the top prize and Matthew Morales coming in runner-up. The winning word was luggage. Kyra will represent Southern Wells in the Wells County Bee on February 12th.
The other students who participated in our Bee were Chloe Maddox, Camryn Marcus, Nick Gatto, Chloe Elam, Ben Shaffer, Mikayla Oswalt, John Hadley, Vince Drennen, Jacey Dunnuck,
Mickayla Culbertson, Damion Watters, Brooke Zoda, Rease Minniear, Braxton Gerber, Uriah DeWeese, Nick Childers, Tom Stepp, and Logan Norman. The alternates were Blake Dollier,
Brianna Pettibone, T.C.Perry and Dakota Clark. Great job students and good luck Kyra!
