The stars were out in the Bluffton gym on Sunday as the parks department presented the Science Central StarLab.
This is the first time the parks department has partnered with Science Central, but will likely not be the last. In fact, they are having a liquid nitrogen ice cream demonstration for the Cinco de Mayo luncheon on May 3. Don't miss it!
Tickets can be purchased at the Clerk Treasurer’s office for $7 and the lunch is prepared by the BHS culinary students.
I shot a couple videos of the StarLab. Since it is pitch-dark inside the StarLab the second is utterly devoid of images. But I posted it here so you could get an idea of what the darkness looked like...(ha ha)

We used to have Star Lab at East Side Elementary every year! It was one of this young nerd's favorite activities!
