Backwards Flag

I have had a couple questions (probably from the same person) asking why the American flag on Bluffton Fire Chief Bob Plummer's uniform is backwards:

The proper way to wear the flag is with the field of stars closest to your heart. You will notice it is backwards on US military uniforms as well.
Plummer takes pride in honoring his country and its flag through proper display.
