Southern Wells Elementary students donated 1171 cans of food for the local food bank. The drive was coordinated by Greenhand FFA members as part of a nationally run drive supported by Toyota. The second graders brought in the most cans, with 395, which earned them an ice cream party.
Food collection will continue at the high school December 8th through 16th.
