SW Wax Museum

Southern Wells Elementary sixth grade held their annual Wax Museum recently. Each year, the sixth grade students research a person in history, prepare a speech on their life, then dress in costume for the wax museum. The historical men and women included Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Susan B. Anthony, Sally Ride and many others. Along with being open to the public, all elementary classes attend the museum as well.  They were greeted at the door by tour guides who would take small groups to each character where the student would come to life and give a short narrative about their lives. This is a big endeavor for the students and teachers.
