Bluffton Fire Department will be participating in a statewide tornado siren test between 10 - 10:30 a.m. and 7 - 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The sirens will sound for about one-minute. Firefighters will use the time to determine which, if any, sirens are in need of repair. And then repair or replace them as needed.
In case of poor weather the day of the test, it will be rescheduled for Thursday at the same times.
So, please don't call the fire department Wednesday and ask them what the sirens are all about. OK?
